Privacy Policy

This policy explains what QuickDesk collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you contact QuickDesk we collect the details you choose to share: your name, company name, email address, phone number, and the description of the issue you need help with.

During a support session we may also see technical information about your devices and accounts, such as operating system versions, error messages, application logs, license assignments, and configuration settings. We only look at what's needed to resolve the request in front of us.

How we use information

We use your information to respond to support requests, deliver the services described in your plan, send service updates, and keep records of the work performed.

We also use aggregated, non-identifying information to understand which services are requested most often so we can improve how we deliver them. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies and local storage entries required for it to work correctly, such as remembering your light or dark theme preference.

We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated first, and the data will be limited to aggregate page usage.

Security

Support sessions run over encrypted connections, and access to client systems is granted only for the duration of the work being performed. Credentials shared with us are stored in an encrypted password manager and removed when they're no longer needed.

Our team follows least-privilege access, uses multi-factor authentication, and reviews administrative accounts on a regular schedule. No system can promise perfect security, so we also keep an incident process for notifying affected clients promptly if something goes wrong.

Third-party services

QuickDesk relies on a small set of established providers to deliver support, including remote access software, email and productivity platforms such as Microsoft 365, cloud providers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, and standard business tools for invoicing and ticketing.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own terms and security commitments. We share only what's necessary for the service to function.

Data retention

Contact form submissions and support records are kept for as long as we're working together and for up to 24 months afterward, which lets us reference past work if you come back to us.

Billing records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and accounting rules. Temporary diagnostic files and session logs are deleted once the related request is closed.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete information we're not required to keep. You can also ask us to stop sending non-essential messages at any time.

Send your request to the address below and we'll confirm receipt and respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we'll honor those requests as well.
